Welcome to the Gideon wiki!

What's Gideon:

Gideon is a service that manages a Transmission Service. It uses Transmission RPC API to manage transmission's behaviour. (http://pythonhosted.org/transmissionrpc/index.html).

How it works
As a service, Gideon is run in background checks if there's something to do.
