Gideon scans a folder looking for .torrent files.
It simply gets the .torrent file and send it to Transmission App.
The Transmission App is launched automatically in case this one were not running yet.
The input folder is configured at Gideon's configuration file:
TransmissionInbox = "/home/user/somewhere/tofetchtorrentfiles/"
You can configure a folder that is synced whit dropbox service for example, samba, or simply assign your download user folder. Gideon will get any .torrent file that you store there.
As Gideon gets the file, it is moved to a folder into Gideon's user configuration folder called Torrentinbox.
Gideon scans a configured folder for incoming items to process. The items can be files or folder with several files inside.
This folder is configured at Gideon's configuration file:
Telegraminbox = "/home/user/SomeWhere/tofetchfiles/"
Maybe you have a file and want it to be processed by Gideon, just put the file or a folder with its content into this folder and Gideon will process it.
You can copy there large files or directly download there from services like Telegram, web browsers or the like. Gideon knows if a file is being accessed and it will wait until all the file/s are fully completed download or copied before Gideon starts to process them.
Telegram usually handle several rar files for large packs of files, Gideon will wait for all rar files to start processing the pack.
Just configure your Telegram desktop application to download the files at Gideon's Telegraminbox hot folder.
You need to install unrar in your system if you want Gideon to unpack this rar files and finally get them processed.
