Adapter1: NAT

• Set port forwarding as below

Adapter2: Host-only

• for accessing from host computer

Connecting from Outside the Host

If you want to connect, through SSH, use "port forwarding"

1. Open VM VirtualBox Manager
2. Select Machine
3. Click Settings
4. Select Network
5. Click "Advanced" > "Port Forwarding" button
6. Add a new Rule
   • Protocol: TCP
   • Host IP: empty
   • Host Port: (any port, say 7070)
   • Guest IP: 10.0.2.15 (IP of the guest system)
   • Guest Port: service port you want to forward
7. OK

Testing

Connect from another machine

ssh -p 7070 user@virtualboxhost
